ICM Increases Its Automotive Contract Molding Business

As an ISO/TS 16949:2009 Tier 1/Tier 2 automotive supplier, ICM has earned even more automotive business for its Charlotte plant. ICM's success as a Tier 1 supplier for one of the Big Three has opened the door to new opportunities in the thriving Southeast automotive corridor. With current and recent projects that incude a 2-part welded battery tray, under-hood components, lower exterior fascia, and interior door panel substrates, this facility is now molding parts for both domestic and imported vehicles.

ICM's Charlotte Plant Close to ISO 14001 Certification

ICM's Charlotte plant has passed its final audit to become ISO 14001:2004 certified. This certification upholds an environmental management system policy where the facility continuously improves its recycling, material reuse, green manufacturing, and other environmentally-friendly practices. The top-notch Quality Team in Charlotte has been working diligently to attain this certification, which is expected to become official in May. ICM's Eloy facility has held the ISO 14001 certification for several years.
